Nydia Lopez

Graduate Assistant

Nydia is our Graduate Assistant in the office. She works closely with the Global Seminars team and holds Walk-In advising hours. Nydia was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico and moved to Riverside, California when she was young. She received her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in Criminal Justice and Arabic and Islamic Studies and a Minor in Spanish. During her undergrad, she studied abroad in Granada, Spain and volunteered teaching English in Rabat, Morocco. She is a current Graduate student in the Post-Secondary Educational Leadership and Student Affairs Master’s program at SDSU. Nydia’s walk-in advising hours are Thursdays from 9am-11am.
