UC San Diego Global Exchange Deadlines

• There is a high level of interest in these programs and space is limited. 
• Students can be expect to be contacted within two weeks after the application deadlines regarding next steps.
  
• Application deadlines are for the TritonsAbroad application. Global Exchange Program partner universities require students to submit a second application and will be informed of those deadlines once accepted via TritonsAbroad and recommended to the partner universities. 
• Reference the How to Apply resource page for application instructions.

For All Universities Except Kyoto University:

• Fall/ Academic Year: February 1
• Spring: September 1

For Kyoto University:

• Fall/ Academic Year: January 5
• Spring: August 1

Withdrawal Instructions and Deadlines

If a student is accepted into Global Exchange Program but decides to withdraw, they must follow the following procedures to formally withdraw:

• Email abroad@ucsd.edu and global@ucsd.edu and include your name, TSN, Global Exchange Program name and anticipated quarter(s) abroad.
• Declare your intent to withdraw and provide your reason(s) for withdrawal.
• Log into TritonsAbroad and withdraw your application. 

Students must complete this process no later than the following dates:

• For Programs Starting in Fall Quarter: August 1
• For Programs Starting in Winter Quarter: November 1
• For Programs Starting in Spring Quarter: February 1
