Financial Aid Counselor

Eduardo is a Study Abroad Financial Aid Counselor at UC San Diego with two years of experience working in Financial Aid and Scholarships. His most recent position consisted of serving as the Scholarships Graduate Assistantship at the San Diego State University Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships, where he managed all internal and external scholarships at SDSU while counseling students and parents virtually. As a former community college student, he transferred to UC San Diego where he received his bachelor's degree in Sociology. He then completed a master's degree from SDSU in Postsecondary Educational Leadership with a specialization in Student Affairs. Eduardo is a first-generation college student from the California Central Valley with a passion for supporting students with financial needs and achieving their goals to study abroad. In his free time, he enjoys exploring new restaurants in San Diego, spending time with friends and family, and playing tennis.
