Cabbages and Condoms restaurant

Long standing chain of restaurants in Thailand started by Mechai Viravaidya, founder of Thailand's Population and Community Development Association (PDA) focused on family planning in the context of economic development.

Lumphini Park

The largest park in Bangkok (e.g. the Central Park of Bangkok), sections of the park are also known as a
site for sex work and romantic trysts. Restrooms throughout the park have safer sex information and condom dispensers.

Red Light Districts: Soi Patpong (female) / Soi Thaniya (Japanese) / Soi Pratuchai or Silom 6 (male)

These are the most famous of the red light districts for tourists in Bangkok, with sections for female sex workers, male sex workers, and Japanese tourists.

Red Light District of Soi Nana (female and trans women)

A red light district with the largest concentration of trans sex workers and establishments targeting South Asian and Muslim tourists.

Songdhammakalyani Monastery

This is the only female temple in Thailand, and the Thai Sangha does not recognize it because woman are not allowed to ordain in Thailand. The abbot has been a long-time religious activist for the right of women to ordain and ordains female monks against the wishes of the Thai Sangha.
